CDL Third Party Tester
A CDL third party tester (examiner) is a licensed and certified CDL driver trainer that is authorized by the state to administer the CDL driving skills test.
A third party examiner (tester) is a person employed by a training facility that is approved to administer CDL driving skills test. Once they have taken the training, they may administer CDL driving skills test on location at CDL truck driver training schools. The testing must be the same, which would be administered by the state. The third party examiner (tester) must comply with all requirements, rules and regulation set forth by the state. In certain states they can administer the exams as an independent CDL tester (examiner).
Once the CDL student driver trainee passes all the CDL driving skills exams or test, the CDL third party tester will give the student driver a signed official CDL skills certificate. The CDL student driver can take the CDL skills certificate to any DMV in the state and get his or hers CDL license.
