DMV – Department of Motor Vehicle – Where to get your CDL.
DMV stands for Department of Motor Vehicle. Each State has a department of motor vehicles that issues and manages driver’s license for its states residents. They also offer informational paperback material and often websites that offer services along with forms and informational material. The DMV issues many different types of driver’s license for different types of vehicles. You can obtain a regular drivers license, motor cycle license and a commercial drivers license at the DMV. Some states may have a different name for the DMV such as the department of drivers license services or driver license bureau, but they offer the same services.

All States have a web based DMV. A typical web based DMV is :http://www.dds.ga.gov/.This is for the state of Georgia.DMV. You should be able to do a quick Google search for your home states DMV or drivers license department.
